Welcome to the Unified Taekwondo Open World Championship 2013. Here you will
be able to find information about this Open World Taekwondo Championships that is
available for all ITF Taekwondo students to take part in. With the tournament now
based in England and there being a large membership within the UK we are expecting
there to be a great turnout of both colour and black belts to this historic event
offering a high level of competition.
The event will be taking place at the
Hertfordshire Sports Village between the 2nd and 4th of August (Black Belt Registration and weigh in on Thursday 1st August) offering
fantastic facilities to both participants and spectators. As part of a university
the sports village caters for athletes of all levels and is surrounded by wide variety
of amenities from restuarants to historic monuments as well as offering a great
accommodations to suit all budgets and requirements.
The Open World Championships has a wide selection of categories for partiticpants
to chose from, including sparring, patterns (tuls), power events and team events.

Unified ITF Taekwondo was founded by Grand Master Hwang (K-9-1) to continue the
teaching and learning of the skills given to us by Founder General Choi Hong Hi. This tournament is a celebration of the skills learnt by
students on the journey through the art of Taekwondo and an opportunity to meet
fellow students from around the globe.
